Do you vote up someone's answer to your question because they answered it?

I try to. I figure if they took the time to answer my nosey-ass question, I can vote them up. It's like a way to say thanks. I won't vote up the rude or bitchy answers though.

  • Of course. It's another way to say "thank you" for taking the time to respond.I don't mind if some say that we mostly answer for credits. That's just a matter of opinion. For whatever the reasons it's nice to acknowledge someone's effort.

  • If it's a question where I'm asking for help/advice/need an answer then yes I usually do to "reward" them for being helpful. If its a just for fun kind of question then I do sometimes, but mostly if I like/agree with the answer, so not every person that responds.
