Will my toddler need a foot brace?

He just turned one and is practicing walking and i noticed that when he walks he always steps with his left foot first (which points forward like suppose to) but his right foot is pointed to the right. This then makes him walk sideways kinda. Is his foot considerd a club foot? Is he going to need a brace or is it like that because he is just learning to walk? Thanks

  • He's fine. A club foot is a horribly disfigured foot that can't be stood on without surgery. He's just learning to walk.
