i cant afford a root canal so the dentist said he is going to stabilize the tooth what does that mean?

  • I am pretty sure its some kind of screw he may put in there to make the tooth last a bit longer...make it stronger. But its not going to last near as long as a root canal would.

  • I would definitely go for the root canal. There are companies like Care Credit that will let you put your dental expenses on a credit card for 1 year with 0% APR and they will just bill you monthly. They are really great and if you need to take longer to pay it, they can extend it for low percentage. Not all dental offices accept it but it would be worth checking out.
