  • Depends how many people, typically for BBQs with the family, I like to go to costco and buy pork ribs, one package is usually good, I dress them up with some raspberry chipotle sauce, you can also cook some grilled chicken breast with BBQ sauce, BBQ beans, potatoe salad and rolls.

  • I made this awesome glaze yesterday for homemade baked chicken nuggests that I did in the oven. But you could use the glaze in the last 5 minutes or so of grilling it was awesome! Here it is:

    BBQ Glaze
    1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon onion powder
    2 teaspoons chili powder
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    1 cup ketchup
    1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
    1/4 cup honey
Pour apple cider vinegar into a small saucepan and whisk in garlic powder, onion powder and chili powder. Bring to a boil and add Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, molasses, dark brown sugar and honey. Lower heat to medium or medium low and allow to bubble and thicken

  • A potluck is every guest bringing their a dish to share, so I wouldn't really think of the whole meal. For my BBQ's I like throwing unusual types of meals, because I think the hot dog/hamburger meal gets kind of old. Therefore, I would make ..

    Brats
    Pulled Pork Sandwiches
    Ranch, Bacon Hamburgers
    Baked Mac and Cheese
    Cold Pasta Salad
    Green Leaf Salad

    Assorted Chips and Dips

    For Desserts ..

You take Cake cups (Found in the bakery section of your grocery)
    Fresh Fruit
    Whipped Cream
    Chocolate syrup
    Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
    And assorted toppings
