Have you ever just clicked the bote up because you saw a down vote on a reply?

I have a few times and in my opinion did not see anything wrong with that persons answer.

  • I did once, when I was looking at a question of mine, for the best answer. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the answer someone just didn't like it. I felt bad so I voted it up.

  • I wouldnt if I thought it was an insane thought but I did yesterday because the girl made a very valid point. It doesnt matter if you agree with that person, just that their story is justified.

  • One time. SOmeone had voted down a good answer just to be rude. So I voted it back up.

  • I did a couple of times when, as the other posters mentioned, there didn't seem to be a legitimate reason for the downvote. If someone states her opinion in a reasonable and respectful manner, there's no reason for those who disagree to vote it down--it's just rude.

  • No, I usually figure the vote down was for a reason.
