we just started trying for a baby how long will it take us to concieve and what the best postion

  • It takes a fertile, healthy couple an average of 3-4 months to conceive. And there is no best position; though it could be argued that the most pleasurable position is the best, as female orgasm tends to help "suck" the sperm up towards the cervix.

    I would recommend getting a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler and check out FertilityFriend.com. Charting is a great way to get to know your cycle and figure out when your fertile days are.

  • The best position is the one that gets you both off. That helps get everything where it needs to be. How long it will take just depends on both of your reproductive health and overall health. I assume you've both been taking care of yourselves, so keep that up, and try not to stress too much, because stress can suppress ovulation.

  • no best position and it depends....my husband and i tried for 2 yrs and were told after trying for a yr and no success means ur probably infirtile and about 2-3 weeks ago we found out we're expecting :)
