I will be having my first ultrasound at 7 weeks exactly. My question is will we be able to hear the heartbeat that early?

  • you will SEE it but you might not be able to hear it with the doppler.

  • Probably you won't be able to hear it. If you are truely 7 weeks it is probably too early. But you should be able to see it.

  • You will see it beating and they can tell you how many beats per minute it is. But you may not hear it depending on the ultrasound machine.
