  • Bring the same things you would if you were going on an outing around where you live. A diaper bag with all the necessities (diapers, wipes, change of clothes, etc). If you formula feed have the bottles partially ready. Put formula in them without water. This way you just have to add some bottled water to the bottles when the baby is hungry. If you nurse, well you don't have to worry about that. Um...a stroller or sling, depending on which you use. A hat to keep the sun off of the baby's head. That should do it for the baby. Don't forget stuff for you too. lol

  • -diapers
    -changing pad
-blanket (can get windy outside or AC cold inside)
-plastic bags (good for soiled items and stinky diapers)
-samples of diaper rash cream (containers can leak)
    -wipes
    -disinfecting hand lotion
    -extra pacifier
-a few tows (a noise maker as a distraction and a cuddley)
-change of clothes plus bib and hat
-dry snacks and juice (I love the instant drink mixes!)
    -stroller
-portable crib (great for naps and non-childproof homes)
-plan stops every 2 hours (McD's has great changing areas)
-pack toys in seperate bag and a small diaper bag seperate from the extras for quick changes
-a kids song cd for emergancy (headphones saved us on a long bus trip, but be careful of volume and prepare for it to be disposible)
    - sit adults together so it's easier to pass the baby
