Does anyone know any other ways to get my protien since the sight of meat makes me want to vomit?

  • There are TONS of ways to get your protein other than meat.

    Dairy and eggs. Beans and lentils.

  • Do you like beans / legumes? They are an excellent source of protein. There are also protein bars. Some are better than others. Protein drinks...meh, We never found one that tasted decent. Nut butters are also good.

  • Legumes: Black beans, kidney beans, lentils, white beans, chick peas (garbanzo beans). Also, tofu and soy if you're able to have it. Also, some grains have a high amount of protein like quinoa, amaranth, oats, millet all have good proteins as well! Check out the internet there's a ton of recipes that are awesome.

  • Peanut butter, legumes, eggs - although if you're struggling with the sight of meat, cooking eggs may be bad too - hardboiled would be the way to go since you won't have to deal with them til they're cooked! I had the same problem with some pregnancies and ate a LOT of peanut butter.

  • Milk, yogurt, cheese, peanut butter, chickpeas, fish, beans, ice cream, Carnation instant breakfast
    You can add skim milk powder to anything you bake, and also you can mix it into milk to add more calcium and protein. You can get skim milk powder in the bakin aisle. Add a couple of teaspoons to a glass of milk and blend well.

  • My doc told me to eat eggs and and peanut butter. You can also get protein water at most stores.
