  • Besides the blueberries and strawberries, I have just a few things- a cherry tomato, some hot peppers, basil, thyme.

  • I only have two flowers because I live in an apartment, but I was thinking of getting those pots that are long and rectangular so I can plant some herbs perhaps. Maybe even a tomato plant. None of these take up a lot of space and it's only me, my SO and our baby so it could help a little. hmmmm? this has me thinking

  • Right now, all that's left in the garden that's still producing are the zucchinni, butternut squash, eggplant, cucumbers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, corn, potatoes (2 varieties), strawberries, broccoli, kohlrabi and a few yellow onions (I've already harvested most of them, as well as the shallots). I have an asparagus patch, but it only produces edible spears in the early Spring (perennial plants), and I have a couple of fruit trees, but they won't have fruit until Fall. I also have an herb garden, but the only thing growing well in there right now is the Greek oregano.

  • Our garden consists of four deep wooden boxes. Our landlord said we could dig a garden, but I don't want to chance it so my husband used some extra wood. We are growing tomatoes, green peppers, three types of basil, parsley, and my daughter had a cabbage plant that was a school project. So far everything is doing good. It's our first attempt at a garden.
