Whippet/Beagle Mix...

We adore our sweet puppy girl! Our neighbor gave her to us because they wanted a different dog and she's been a huge blessing to our family♥ We've tried to find info on whippets with no luck, nor can we find anyone that has this type mix. Let us know if you know of a website or book on them. Thanks much!

Here is info about both whippets & beagles. When you have a mixed breed dog, the dog can take on any characteristics of each dog, so they are usually uniqely their own. If you read about both, it may help you understand your mix breed a little better. That is not a common mix though.

  • Sounds like a cute mix. I had a German Shepherd/Whippet mix growing up, he was the best dog ever!

  • I don't know about a website but I have a blue heeler (or Australian Cattle Dog)/whippet mix and I ADORE her.. She is SO smart (she catches on to things VERY quick), it's hard to over feed her bc she stays thin thanks to being a very energetic dog (which is good when you have 2 kids and one likes to feed the dogs).. She's cuddly which is good and not good at the same time bc she's not the size of a lap dog, she's a medium sized dog, but she's VERY sweet.. I love her!
