  • We started Poly-Vi-Sol in her cereal at 6 months and then when she could start chewing up things, she started on Flinstones with Iron.

  • Oh and she also takes 2 Vitamin D gummies a day

  • She started the gummies at between 18 months and 2 years. Then, at a little after two, we switched to the flintstone chewables.
    She still takes them.

  • My pediatrician said they should be getting all of their required vitimins in their daily meals. That giving them extra vitimins is overkill and can actually cause issues with their body. There isn't any need to take more vitimins if you're eating well balanced meals.

  • My Pediatrician started him on Poly-Vitamin with Iron Liquid drops when he was a few months old. Then at about two he started vitamin chew-ables we get by prescription. Our Insurance covers all vitamins for free. That is the standard of Pediatricians here on Long Island NY. I am really surprised how vitamin recommendation usage varies by location. This is an upscale area and they recommended them from the beginning even with a very good balanced diet.

  • My son has never been on vitamins, his doctor only recommends them if there is a reason he is not eating a variety of foods. He gets all his vitamins from the foods he eats.
