Can you turn spray perfume into

the kind you dab on or are there preservatives that it needs to keep from spoiling?

  • LOL so to actually answer your question, no, you really can't. I mean, you can spray the perfume out into your hand or into a container and dab it on, but it isn't going to change the concentration of the perfume and give you the richer, longer lasting scent that the eau de toilette will give you.

  • *generally* spray perfume is eau de toilette and has a 1-6% concentration of perfume solids. This creates a light scent that oesn't last long and is less expensive. 'Dab on' perfumes tend to be eau the parfum and are 7-15% perfume concentrates. Anything above that is generally called extrait de parfum, and is used in the making of eau de parfum and eau de toilette.
