Donate old magazines?

I have a ton of old magazines that I had kept for craft purposes but they're taking up way too much space. Does anyone know where I can get rid of them? I think our local recycling program takes them but I figured someone might want them for something. Any ideas ladies?

  • Maybe ask your doctors office, dentist or other places you come, where they have magazines laying out in the waiting room... :)

  • Maybe a school, or daycare center. Somewhere where they will be kids making crafts.

  • You could freecycle them. You never know who may need them!

  • Take them to the library! Our local library takes donated magazines. Or, take them to a senior center/shelter/afterschool program.

  • Our high school art teacher loves them. I am sure some other teachers like them too. The senior center told me they don't want them b/c they want only current stuff.
