I need a good (and easy) Fruit Smoothie recipe!

I am looking for a Fruit Smoothie recipe that preferably does not have yogurt in it (don't really care for the taste). I love strawberries, banannas, chocolate, peaches, and blueberries are okay.

  • I always just throw in whatever fruit I want, with half a cup of yogurt (try vanilla ice cream since you dont like yogurt, a half a cup isn't that bad for you). I also use a little OJ or pomegranate juice to get a little liquid in there. Then I throw in a little tofu.

  • Freeze bananas and strawberries (with green tops!) cut bananas into 3" pieces
add to blender pitcher, add a little sugar (about 1/4 cup) or honey
add milk to 3/4 full, maybe a little more
    add vanilla (optional)
    No ice.
Blend, and fruit will turn it into ice-cream-like consistency!

    YUM!

You can also substitute soy milk, almond milk, for the milk. Add juicy juice instead and you'll have a different drink entirely

  • You can go to the grocery store freezer section and purchase the smoothie mix. It is yummo! There are several differnt ones. My teens make smoothies all the time. She never uses yogurt. I got her the cook book smoothies for dummies. She loves following the recipes or making up her own.
