  • You can study for it on online, but not take the actual test. Like the other poster suggested, check with the board of education.

  • You cannot take your GED online. It has to be at an adult education center in a controlled evironment. At home you can cheat and they want to prevent that. They also need to varify who you are with your ID and SS card, and you can't provide those online. You have to go to an Adult Education center and sign up. Some states require you to take classes, whereas other states just sign you up for the test.

  • *i'd like to add, dont pay for a diploma or ged that is just given to you. i've heard where they give you the hs diploma and transcripts (big in Florida). also when you are given the answers just minutes before taking a test, and then given a diploma once you "pass". you can put it on a job application but the military wont take it. an id assume a college wouldn't either. you're just wasting your money in those cases.

  • @ yes you can take GED classes online now if she goes to a community college and register for the online classes she'll get an ID her books if needed with her id she can study at school use the library , computers etc i was surprised when i was checking for local colleges the student would be connected to that school so that like you said no cheating or funny stuff but she would have to take the test in person thats the only way
