Would it be considered wrong to call your child "munchkin"?

Luckily I've never had anyone say anything to me about this, but I was just wondering. I call my dd munchkin, and I know it's not a politically correct term, but do you think anyone would find it offensive? I think it would be silly to call her my "little person" lol.

  • Dunkin Donuts and a whole lot of other places would have some drama if people got offended by the term "munchkin." I think its just fine.

  • There is also a brand of children/baby products called Munchkin. I don't see anything wrong with it.....people will find just about anything to get offended about these days.

  • I think if you called a true little person a munchkin then it could be offensive, but no not for your child. I call my son munchkin all the time!
