I'm from the midwest and was wondering did anyone hang out at Ford City Mall on the southside of chicago in the 1970's thru about 1995 and can you recall some of the stores or restaurants just in this particular mall and let me know what neighborhood you came from

located at 76th and cicero in chicago, illinois

  • Don't remember that one. I used to go to Dixie Square Mall, Lincoln Mall and Orland Square Mall though. Did you try Deadmalls.com? That's one of my favorite websites. I love reading the history of Dixie Square Mall.

  • Are you talking about the green stamps? I remember the stamps, but don't remember much else about them. Weren't they like F & S Green Stamps, or something?

  • I'll ask my mom. I remember something about going up to Chicago Heights where there was a store we cashed them in at.
