Alternative ideas for what to do with crib bumpers?

I just got this really awesome bedding set from a local mom, and I'm dying to go ahead and set up the new baby's room. However, the set came with crib bumpers. We aren't using them (because of the SIDS and suffocation risks), but I don't want to not use them for *anything*. Any ideas to what I can use them for? I've actually never even seen any up close until now so I'm stumped on decorating ideas.

Thanks!

  • you could tie them to the outside of the crib, right about where it would be on the inside. that way when kneeling on there to pick up baby you aren't hitting hard crib, and it is also alittle padding when baby gets older and is trying to walk

  • You could tack them up at the top of the wall like a border. or under or above a window.
