Am i a bad mom for letting my son eat peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon?

He's 2, and he only gets a little at a time and licks it slowly..so he really doesn't eat much of it..but he loves it..do you think this is bad?

  • I dont see why it would be bad...... protein is good for him and as long as it has obviously been identified that he does not have peanut allergies let him go for it. Me and my 5 & 3 yr old do LOL peanut butter is awesome momma!

  • No, mine does it too, it has lots of protien which is good for them....thay also have a bunch of fat ofcorse, but as long as they burn it off - and trust me, they do :-} - I don't see anything wrong w/ it :)

  • Only bad if he puts the spoon back in the jar and goes for a second lick. That would put germs in the jar. Otherwise, lick away! It's healthy!

  • I don't see why it's bad? I mean if he was allergic to it then yeah bad mom lol, but since he isn't it's ok.
