Would you pay for a personal trainer?

And how much do you think is reasonable?

  • I have, and I'm looking forward to getting back to working with her soon. Fell off the workout wagon and I'm just getting back to where I think I'm ready for her(she's evil I tell you! evil!!!). I'd meet wit her every other week and always found myself looking forward to it even though I knew I'd be in utter agony for three days after.

The trainers at my gym get $50/hr, or you can do packages of 3/6/12 sessions and the more you buy the cheaper it gets.

  • I would if I had the money for it.
    IDK, $25 a session?
I dont know what is reasonable but $25 an hour sounds like good $$ to me.

  • I would LOVE a personal trainer, but I don;t have the money for it. :-(
As for how much, it probably depends on where you're at. Like in my hometown, there aren't many so someone could probably charge more. It's probably competitive pricing.

  • If I could, I totally would! Sorry but I really don't know what a reasonable rate would be.

  • No, I don't need to pay for a personal trainer, I have a huge library of workout programs on dvd so it's like I always have a trainer lol. I have heard some trainers earn $50 an hour or even more sometimes, but I'm sure it depends on where you are.

  • I have thought about it, but it would get expensive fast. I got 2 free personal training sessions when I joined my gym, and those were great workouts. My gym has a special right now 3 50-minute sessions for $129, but I don't know how much the sessions are when purchased individually. I would love to pay $30, but maybe $40 would be more reasonable.
