What is the recommended water intake during pregnancy? Is it the same as when you aren't?

  • It's the same but 8-8oz glasses is not accurate. You should take your weight divide by 2 and that's how many oz you should drink daily even when pregnant...don't up the amount for pregnancy weight unless you are thirsty but be cautious because drastic increased thirst could signal diabetes

  • I think it's technically the same, 64 oz, but you'll likely want more. I was thirsty all the time through both of my pregnancies, and I've heard other women say the same thing.
