What do you mix with cereal if...

I can't get much to pump out. I am EBF so do I use what I can get with some water? What did you do...I really do not want to use formula. Thanks!

  • You don't have to use cereal at all. Just to warn you it tastes bad and can be very constipating. If your baby is 6 months or older, just go right to table food fruits or veggies Easier, cheaper, and tastier and you don't have to worry about it.

  • you can mix it with a fruit or veggie and that will cut down on the amount of milk you need to get it to the right texture.

  • I never just fed dd cereal. I would take babyfood, like applesauce and just a small handful of cereal to that and feed her. She always loved it.

  • Water is perfectly fine, but as it was stated, you don't NEED to use cereal. Just pointing it out because many moms think it's a necessity, and it's not. If you WANT to use it, that's perfectly fine.
