  • My son will be in 9th. He has to read "Fahrenheit 451" and answer 40 question. Be ready for a test in the first couple of weeks and be ready to write a report/do a project as well.

  • My older kids, going into 6th and 7th grade, each have a book they need to read. Both will have assignments or a test on the book the first day or two of school. DD has to read The Black Pearl by Scott O'dell and DS has to read The Watsons Go to Birmingham.

  • From school? No. From me? Yes. My kids are going into 4th and 5th grade so they obviously don't nap anymore, but we have "reading time" where they have to read for a minimum of 30 minutes after lunch.
