what is a good vitamin to take after you have a baby? i finished up with my prenatal vitamins because my insurance does not cover it any longer and it will be very expensive for me to pay for them out my pocket. so does anyone has any other recommendations for another good vitamin after you give birth

  • I'm pregnant and I take OTC prenatals. When I was ill, I took gummies.

  • Places like Meijers have free prenatals with a prescription. If you can get your dr. to write you another prescription you can keep getting them.

  • These ladies are right. You have options. There is also a specific type on Wal*Mart's $4 list if you don't have Meijer in your area.

  • Get the generic prenatal vitamins at walmart. I've taken them through all 3 pregnancies and while nursing.

  • my doctor said it wouldn't be a bad idea to continue taking my regular OTC off-brand prenatals i took throughout the pregnancy.
