Carpet + Peanut Butter = A huge mess!!

Any ideas on how to get it out...the carpet cleaner I have doesn't seem to be working very well...

Mix up hot water and lots of dish detergent. You have to have enough detergent to dissolve the peanut oil. You can tell if it's strong enough if you can easily clean peanut butter off of a spoon or knife in the sink. Use a rag to scrub it in the carpet. Once the peanut butter is out, blot up the soapy water with a towel and scrub again with clear hot water to remove the soap. Blot again to dry.
