How long did you child have their comfort item?

my dd has hers at 10 and my son is 6 and he doesn't.

  • My DS (8) has a puppy that he always sleeps with, but it isn't allowed out of the house (unless he's going to spend the night somewhere). DD (5) has never had one specific item, but she does have a favorite bear that she always sleeps with.

  • DD never had an item. I guess you could say her pacifier but that was gone by about 9 months (I didn't want her to have one when her teeth came in). I've always been her comfort source. She hasn't dropped me yet :p

  • Both my boys have their blankets...they are 7&10....granted: the 10 yr.old's is in many pieces now...LOL!!!

  • My son is 18 months and still wont give up the bottle at bed time. I took his pacfier at 3 months because I hate them and he barely used it, he ended up replacing it w the bottle. Im hoping I can bottle break him soon. But other than that he loves a soft blanky....

  • My boys never really had one. All three of the girls have them and they are 5, 4, 17 months.
