  • The Bride's family pays for the Wedding and the Groom's family pays for the rehearsal dinner. It has been tha way for as long as I can remember and that is a LONG time. LOL. (I am 68)It was done that way back in the day when my Gramma got married. 1902.

  • The bride's. But if the groom's family is more well off considerably, then the right thing to do is for the groom's family to help out.

  • The groom's family is supposed to pay for the rehearsal dinner, and the bride's is supposed to pay for the wedding day.

  • Traditionally the brides family (if they are willing). The Grooms family pays for the rehersal dinner...and they're supposed to take care of the grooms tux, groomsmens' dressings...

  • The bride's family pays for everything but the rehearsal dinner, and the groom's wedding band. Although I think nowadays its more common for the groom's family to offer to help pay for more. Who ever decided the bride's family pays for everything anyways? I'd like to find that person....

  • "traditionally" it's the bride's family. The groom's family usually pays for the rehearsal dinner.
