My DD peed in her bed last night--how do I get the smell out?

  • Put baking soda on the bed, leave it there for about an hour, then vacuum it up.

  • Put laundry soap in, baking soda, white vinegar, a little bit of bleach if the sheets are white. Use warm water in the washer just to dissolve everything, then turn to cold. Use the rotating part to swish everything around and combine. Then add sheets. If the urine soaked through to the mattress, Scrub with a solution of the same stuff (except bleach) and plenty of water. Take a towel and soak up the wetness. Allow to air dry.
