Lightly Sweetened?

The new Starbucks VIA instant iced coffee is lighly sweetened. but on the label it states 11g of sugar per serving. and each packet is for 2 servings in a 16 oz water bottle. How can they get away with saying it's "lightly sweetened"? Also, first ingredent is SUGAR

  • They mean lightly sweetened compared to their other sweetened drinks. This is why I hardly ever get coffee drinks away from home.

  • because it is starbucks and compared to the other drinks that *IS* light. It is like when they have 'low fat' cake and it is still 12 grams of fat
