Can I give my two year old walnuts?

  • I wouldn't suggest it.If a child is really allergic to nuts and you give even the smallest amount, it could trigger an allergic reaction which could lead to swelling of the throat. I would wait till the child is older.

  • If there are no allergies I don't see why not. But if you are worried she will have a reaction, just have some benydral close by.

  • I wouldn't! I can eat peanuts but walnuts make my throat close up & get scratchy. They are also too big to safely eat. She could gag.
