What did you get your child for 1st birthday?

I want to get him a power wheel appropriate for 12+ months. What else do people get for a 1 year old?

  • We didn't buy them anything. They got a lot of presents from relatives and we didn't need anymore crap in the house.

  • a cupcake. LOL The grandparents and great grandparents got him so much stuff (it was like Christmas) that we didn't get him anything special. He really loved that cupcake.

  • Money in his college account. And a small token toy> less than $20.

At that age kids are so little, that they will not remember their birthday, or even care what they got. Heck, most like the box their toy comes in better than the toy!
