Would your relationship last if you couldn't have sex more than once a year?

  • Yes because a strong relationship isn't based on just sex imo. I couldn't have sex w/ my DH for the first 5 months of my pregnancy and am now almost 3 weeks postpartum so nope can't now either. If all a relationship consists of is sex then it won't last anyway!

  • Absolutely.

  • Mine wouldn't - both my DH and I are too sexual for that. I do know couples that rarely have sex and seem to have an ok marriage; I think it depends on how both partners feel about sex (or the lack therof).

  • We could if we had to but we wouldn't wanna. There are other things to do other than intercourse:)

  • Yep. My DH and I actually did something similar at one point. We couldn't have sex from the start of my second trimester with my oldest because of the pain, and then I had to wait another 12 weeks afterwards because of more pain. We had sex once and I got pregnant again - and the cycle started over again... I think we ended up having sex like 3 times in a year & a half or so.
