(minimum 6 characters) nasty!

So my 2 y/o son loves shoes he loves to play with, but what makes it worst is he likes to bite the rubber bottoms. It is sooo nasty to me and he knows its a bad thing to do because he will hide and do it. anyone having this problem and how do you stop it!!

  • My 6 year old would do the same thing, she liked to lick the bottom of shoes. It was gross, we ended up hiding our shoes for awhile.

  • give him something else to chew on?? he obviously likes the feel/texture of rubber. he's teething, right? keep his shoes out of reach, and replace them with something less likely to get so dirty. something you can wash regularly, too.

  • Hide his shoes and don't let him wear them in the house. I always used the term "ucky" when it came to something I didn't want him putting in his mouth. I'd made a really nasty face and go uuuccckkkyyyyyyy....he got the idea and it worked....

  • You have to have something that he can play with at all time.
