  • extended rear face. like butterflyblue19 said. And it is argued so much because those moms say it is safer to keep your child that way instead of letting them forwardface at the 1 year mark. (I dont believe in doing it but to each their own. It is kinda like the BF/FF debates or SAHM/ WM debates.

  • extended rear facing-carseats in the backwards position beyond the 1 yr 20 lbs mark. I have no idea hon!

  • By law it is still 1 year and 20 lbs and the recommendation is until at least 2 years and that is why there is so much discussion about it on here. My children are rear facing until they out grow it and also in a 5 point harness until they out grow that. I have tall, skinny kids so my seats are the tallest for both that I can afford (no Britax here).

  • I was actually just getting ready to buy my son a front facing seat because he just turned 2. I just don't see why people need to fight over it.
