Do you have a savings account for your child that is unrelated to school or a car? If so, How much do you put in it and how often?

  • Yes. We don't put a set amount in, but I transfer money into it each pay period. That is also where his excess money goes from gifts and emptying his piggy banks.

  • we are so broke that we cannot put away anything for anyone...I know we will regret it and whats worse is hubby's employer stopped putting money into his retirement fund

  • Well... I don't have a school, or car account for him... he only has 1 account... we live paycheck to paycheck.. so saving a lot is out of the question. We put at least 5 dollars a week into his account.
