What's your favorite wine?

I'm really enjoying this glass of Liebfraumilch (Mothers Milk) wine from Germany. My favorite is Reisling though.

What's yours?

  • Hmm...for white wine I like Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. For red, I like Sterling Cabernet's. :)

  • I like almost any white zinfandel. Or champagne, depending on who is buying.

  • Painted Turtle Shiraz is what I've been enjoying recently. Nothing fancy, but it's good wine.

  • I'm a Riesling fan, too, but I like French-style Chardonnays, some Pinot Gris, and several Malbecs.

  • PS- Just to share:
Liebfraumilch is named for the Liebfraumilch monastery in Worms, where monks created this sweet, gentle wine. It is a late-harvest style, and therefore Qualitätswein (QbA) wine. They are typically made in the Nahe, Rheingau, Rheinhessen and Pfalz regions. A Liebfraumilch must be at least 70% Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner or Kerner.

  • It's been a while since I had a good glass of wine, but my mom was down for her birthday a few weeks ago and we had a few bottles with dinner (for everyone, not just the 2 of us lol). I forgot how much I liked it!

  • You know, I used to be a huge red wine fan, but I've found as I get older I lean much more toward white wines.

  • I am a Quintessa fan. Don't drink it too often as it is pricey. I recently had Sokol Blosser Evolution. It is a blend of 9 varietals and it was delicious. I have had it before, but forgot how yummy it is. It is a perfect white for all occasions.
