i had one the other day should i have any pain or discomfort ?

  • You'll be sound asleep during the procedure and probably won't remember a thing, there is no pain during the procedure.  Once in awhile someone develops pancreatitis after the procedure that can lead to some pain, but this can be treated.

    I've never had this procedure done personally, but I'd call your doctor. There can be complications with these, and the pain should have subsided by now, I think. It's not entirely unusual to have pain, but I'd call the doctor just to make sure it's not due to any complications. Acute pancreatitis and duodenal perforation are the most common causes of pain after this procedure. Best of luck, and I hope you're feeling better soon. :)
