  • Now. At 9 months my son ate almost everything.

  • Whenever you want, I never really even did baby food much with my kids, I would just give them soft table foods, or make my own and if they can handle some solids, and chunks, then why not? I'm sure your baby can handle it now.

  • You should be able to introduce any of it now. Slowly start with soft things and see how it goes. She has probably shown quite a bit of interest by now.

  • I started giving him regular food around 9 months, but he was probably closer to a year before I switched him over completely.

  • Babies don't have to eat baby food at all, you just have to make sure that what they eat is appropriate for them (ie. mashed up/soft enough)

  • 7 teeth? she can eat whatever you want her to eat. Just watch out for the normal choking hazards and chop her food appropriately.

  • You sure can start now. As long as baby is ready :) My son refused baby food around 7 months and switched to table. He did great with it and has eaten what im eating since :)

  • We never used baby food, just mashed up whatever we were eating. Go ahead and puree whatever fruits and vegetables you are eating (avoiding allergy trigger foods).

  • We made our own baby food, but at the 9 month appointment our pediatrician said less baby food, more table food.
