# How deep is 12' x 33' pool?

Asked by Anonymous at 4:07 PM on Jul. 10, 2010 in About CafeMom

• 12 x 33 sounds like the width and length to me...I think the depth is up to you and to be worked out with the contractor, if you're talking about an in-ground pool. For above ground pool, I don't know, aren't they usually about 4 feet deep?

• I think it's 12 ft. wide and 33 ft. long. It could be a depth of 3 ft. to 6 ft. or more in the deepest end. My husband is a landscape disigner and also works with pools.

• I'm going to say not. It is probably 12 feet in diameter and only about 3 feet deep??? Could that be right?

• You are missing a dimension in there somewhere. You should have Length times Width time Heigth. You've got length and width, unless it's a round pool.

• I was just seeing how deep it was because we are looking at getting one and I wanted it to be deep enough for DH and I to swim in too

• 12 ft deep probably means you'd put water in it up to 10 or more feet. So that's plenty for swimming. You can swim in 4 ft.

• It's 12 feet deep and 33 feet long. What's the problem?

• If it is an above ground pool or easy set pool, then it has a 12 foot diameter and is only 33 inches deep.

Answer by Erin814 at 4:58 PM on Jul. 10, 2010

• If it's like this easy set pool then YOU MISSED typed the dimensions it's 12' x 33".

' = feet
" = inches

So the pool is 12 feet circle that is 33 inches deep. 33 inches is 2 feet 9 inches.
