Can you tell me if my baby has a flat head?- pictures

My Nagging Mother keeps telling me he has a really flat head... IDK what do you think?

  • well it dosent look flat at all but i would need and pic of back of the head to be sure, I know alot about this, My son had tortacolis (sp) and its a muscle condition where he can only turn his head one way so there for it flattens one side, my sons was severe he wore a helmet for 8 months of his life!

  • From the first picture no he doesn't look like he has a flat head...the second picture..is sort of distorted...you can't get a real view...its too much looking down.

  • The top pic looks like he may. The condition is called plagiocephaly. I would mention it tothe ped.

  • It doesn't look like he has a flat head to me but if you're concerned ask the pedi. they should know.

  • Thats why I asked. I've heard of the special helmets and Ive also heard that flat head syndrom has been linked to learning delays. I think his head is fine. Just thought I'd ask for a few more opinions. Oh and the downward angle was so you could see the back of his head from another angle :)
