  • Both. But we're leaving the bank for a credit union. It was Well's Fargo. We put $100 in savings as part of our starter emergency fund (Dave Ramsey plan) and they started taking $3 out of that account every month as a service fee. Yeah no! You can't take $3 a month from an account with $100 in it. There will be no money left in there in no time.

So now we're in the process of switching over.

  • I had my first account with wells fargo and they charged so many fees it was crazy, I was 17 and trying to learn how to manage my finances. My mom told me to close the account then took me to her credit union, I have used credit unions ever since because I dont get charged to death and the service is so much better.

  • I have an account with both. We had been thinking about cancelling our Wells Fargo, and we definitely will now after reading the previous posts.
