What would you suggest for Weight Gaining?

  • I am a wellness couch promoting Herbalife for both gaining or loosing weight. There are things to consider before giving you a full answer: your weight, age and any health issues, whether you have a past history of weight related conditions or not among others.
    I can share with you a general answer: a diet high in protein: lean meats, eggs, fish, a balance intake of whole grains, high intake of fruits and veggies, high protein shakes, whole milk, good fatty oils like extra virgin olive oil, avocados, eat your 3 meals, between snacks high in nutrition, take high quality vitamins, drink lots or water, no sodas. You want to gain healthy pounds... so enjoy desserts but don't over eat sweets so you can eat more protein and other good nutritional foods. Hope you'll get ideas in these forum but look for the wider picture, after all, every person should care for his/her own health!

  • Is this weight gaining for you or weight gaining for your kids?
    And is this fatty weight or healthy weight?

    For healthy weight I would suggest eating a diet heavy in protein and light on carbs as well as ingesting a heavy diet of protein shakes and/or bars. Clifs makes excellent great tasting protein bars that will give you wonderful caloric intake. If it's fatty, just eat a lot of processed foods. They'll make you fat in a minute. If it's for your kids, Pediasure, lots of carbohydrates (i suggest organic), wheat, fiber, and such, and things heavy in protein. No protein shake for them though :)

  • Try Juice Plus, it's 17 servings of fruits and veggies in a capsule or gummy. It helped my daughter gain weight and she took the gummies.
