On a baby shower gift tag, do you write it out to the parents or the baby(I know what they are naming her)?

I was thinking of writing the name they are going to give the baby (Natalie Faith), What do you think/do?

  • I write it to the baby. I know that sounds corny, but the gift is for the baby, even though it is not here yet. It is like their first personal present.

  • If it's a baby item, put the baby's name on it. If it's more for the parents, put their names on it. At my showers, the gifts mostly said "Baby Lastname."
