A site like this for the older generation?

Does anyone know of anything like this group for older people? In their 60s-80s?

My mom has a lot of questions, about her meds, her insurance, etc, and I don't want to ask them here, because I doubt anyone here is going to know. I'm talking about alert older people, men and women, who use the computer and have a "community" like Cafemom.

  • I am retired, a "senior citizen" and I don't really think I need a separate "senior" site. We can all post here....If your Mom has questions about Insurance and Medicare, etc., she will get better information by Googling or asking a medical professsional or a customer rep. at a Clinic or Hospital or even visting her Social Security office in town. That;s how I get my information....not here.. THIS Cafe Mom is mainly for "chats" and gossip about Politics orShow Biz or Health and Homemaking and talking about Relationships and Sex and Mom things...and I guess for Grandma things, too. There are quite a few grandmas here. But I wouldn't depend on Cafe Mom for real important stuff. LOL.

  • I don't know. Does AARP have one? Or any prescription sites? I'm unsure! But I bet there is a need. Its great for those being current on everything. And staying young at heart and in mind! Good luck finding the right place!
