How can I make my eyes look smaller?

I know, that probably sounds dumb, but here is my issue: I have very big, round eyes (they are green). Whenever I attempt wearing eye makeup, it doesn't look right because my eyes are so darn big (like when I tried to smoky eye look, you could hardly see it). So, do you know of any tricks to make the appearance of large eyes, smaller??

  • Here's an article on the subject.

    This is what I do:

I use a black eye-shadow as eye liner and use a smudge brush and outline the outsides of my eye lids... I do a knocked-down version of the cat eye.

Then, I take a creame colored semi-sparkly eyeshadow and brush it within the inner-corners of my eyes :)

  • I have the exact opposite problem cause my eyes are deep set. I bet your eyes are a beautiful green, enhance them. I would go to the dept store and ask a representative to show you how to bring out your eyes and what the technique is. I have an eye problem and cant wear makeup anymore at all. Good luck :)

LMAO @ this! I would say line the inner lower eyelid with a black eyeliner, it should make them look smaller.
