Scared what should I do?

I have had My mirena in since the end of december 2009 and had bled for two months after the placement of the mirena. I stopped having periods for four months and now I am having some bleeding. I have been told that the mirena could have shifted or I could be pregnant and having a miscarriage I have no insurance so what are my options or should I even be concerned?

  • I can tell you that it is extremely important that you get this checked if you are having problems with it. Trust me, I only had one in for about two months and developed a massive infection. Mine was taken out in the ER while I was being treated for the infection. I had a throbbing pain so bad that I couldn't straighten up.

  • Google "Community Health Centers" to find the master Web site of government-run health clinics that will see anyone, regardless of their ability to pay. You can drill down to find the location of a clinic near you.
