  • If you are interested in learning about wines, start going to (free) wine tastings. http://www.localwineevents.com/ is a great place to start.

  • Why is wine in quotation marks? Is it a euphemism for something, or do you want a wine recommendation?

  • I enjoy the Duplin wine. Walmart sales it.

  • If you're looking for something that's technically a wine, without having a dry taste, try Wild Vines blackberry merlot. Its sweeter than most wines I've tried with the exception of a good moscato (a desert wine).

  • SWasson, too funny. *gg*
To the OP, try the Hogue or Crane Lake Riesling. Inexpensive and sweet, so probably preferred for folks who don't drink a lot of wine. And you should be able to find it at most liquor stores.
