I'm Never Eating Ever Again! (warning-vent)

I have IBS, Gerd, and recently diagnosed with Gallstones.

I can't eat. I've tried tweaking my diet, trying different foods. Looked at the dietary recommendation for each of my problems and discovered that to be no help as there is no food left for me to eat.

I ate a stupid salad. A Salad! Now I'm miserable. WTH! I'm tired of this. The only time I am without symtoms is when I fasted for 3 days. Do I quit eating? What am I doing wrong?

ok, vent over...just needed to vent

  • Have you seen the Dr. Will removing the gallbladder help you any? As much as I know this is miserable, there should be something they can do for you. Sending up a prayer for you.

  • I second the removal of the gall bladder. I have IBS and GERD too,and a high fiber, low fat diet helped a bunch. I limit my soda, tomato product, citrus fruit intake and do not drink alcohol or coffee.

  • Ask your doctor for a referral to a nutritionist or dietician.

  • A dietician and a good gastroenterologist for starters and I had a ton of galstones, they took my galbladder out and it really helped with the pain.
