  • I was raised to answer with "Yes Ma'am" or "Yes, Sir", and I have taught my children the same. It's all about showing respect.

    I hate being called ma'am LOL Hubby used to call me ma'am... he quickly changed it to mistress and all was well ;o)

  • yes ma'am..im 26 and i expect my kids to use their manners..its not as addressing someone of age as in sayin you are old...its out of respect to any adult figure
